We promote the diversity, social welfares, social bounds, citizenship and love in communities through studies and events. We believe the most effective approach to address community issues is to get the citizens involved, encourage each members to take leadership, strengthen understanding between each other, integrate resources and take positive approaches.
About Us
United Community Groups Inc (UCG) is a locally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.This group consists of experts from diversified backgrounds, finance, engineering, commerce, entrepreneurs, and etc. We share ideas and collaborate in promoting community welfare. Light up Richmond is one of the initiatives we are taking in the near future.

Mr. Liu ever worked as event manager at Square One Foundation and Global Bridge Foundation. Planned and managed events in Harvard University KSG projects included Chinese Leaders in Development Program, Beijing 2008 Olympic Game Organizing Committee Salt Lake City field study.
He also worked as Corporate Controller at Pangaea Group, Cost Engineers and Financial Analyst at Qimonda North America, Business Performance Consultant at Dominion Resource & Services Inc.

Mr. Ning works as an electrical engineer in Dominion Technical Solutions, Inc., Richmond, VA. Before 5/2014, he was an energy industry consultant in EnerNex, LLC, Knoxville, TN. Years of service experience to industrial partners cultivated his enthusiasm and skills to serve for the communities.

Hu Ying (Eva Harris)

Eva Harris (Hu Ying), born in the year of the Rooster, grew up in Hunan Province. Eva studied Golf Management in Scotland at Elmwood College near St. Andrews. After completing her studies in Scotland, Eva returned to China to work in the golf industry, mainly in Zhejiang Province. During that time she gained much experience hosting large social events for many corporate sponsors such as BNW, Mercedes Benz and Oracle among others. Eva was also chosen to be the host of a charity golf event that featured many Chinese TV and Movie stars and local Business Leaders. In 2014 Eva moved to RVA with her family where she is a full time Mother of two beautiful children, Samuel and Mia.
